Suvendu Adhikari's Call for Change: A Deep Dive into 'Sab Ka Sath, Sabka Vikas Hatao

Suvendu Adhikari's Call for Change: A Deep Dive into 'Sab Ka Sath, Sabka Vikas Hatao

.

After the poor performance of the Bharatiya Janata Party [BJP] in Bengal, the leader of the state unit of the party, Suvendu Adhikari was facing criticism from within and outside the party according to the top 10 breaking news in hindi. Adhikari is a mass leader with excellent appeal among the masses and if the BJP managed to get an impressive 39% of vote share in the last elections, to a large extent it was due to his efforts and appeal.

Keeping that in mind, Adhikary has responded in his very own style at a mass gathering of party supporters where he asserted - “Sab ka Sath, Sabka Vikas Hatao”…“Jo Hamare Sath, Ham Unke Sath”.

The BJP may have lost one-third of its Lok Sabha seats in Bengal but it is here to stay and is a serious contender for power in the state.

It is also true that winning elections in Bengal against the ruling party is not the same thing as winning elections in any other state as per top 10 Hindi samachar news.

Bengal is a totally different ballgame where 50 percent of the results of an election depends on the kind of street muscle a party has and invariably it is always the party in power that commands it; today, it is the TMC.

Political violence in Bengal is not confined to elections only but it impacts the life of people even in normal times if you look at the top 10 news today in Hindi.

Where the different parties stand in Bengal today

There is no caste polarization in Bengal but the people of the state are polarized on the basis of their political affiliations. However, the 28% Muslims of the state are communally polarized and they always vote en bloc for the party in power or the party that has street muscle.

The top 10 breaking news in Hindi suggest that this has been the pattern of Muslim voting in Bengal ever since the Communist Party of India [Marxist] or CPM-led Left Front ruled from 1977 to 2011 and the Trinmool Congress [TMC] thereafter.

The traditional contenders of power in Bengal, the CPM and Congress have more or less been wiped out of existence and the remaining fragments of their votes have gone to either the BJP or TMC.

Undoubtedly, all the Muslim votes of both the Congress and CPM have gone to TMC along with a percentage of Hindu leftist and traditional Congress votes as per the top 10 hindi samachar news. The rest have gone to the BJP.

The BJP in Bengal has dumped its Muslim outreach program

There was and possibly still is, a perception among the BJP national leadership that the ban on Triple Talaq have endeared the party to Muslim women across the country. Most of them are disillusioned now and are adjusting their perspectives.

The central leadership prevailed upon all the state leaderships to tone down their Hindutva rhetoric and try to reach out to Muslims especially women with the slogan “Sab ka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas”.

Now, the leader of the Bengal BJP, Suvendu Adhikari, is possibly the first regional leader of the party to publicly dump this slogan and whatever policy it implies as per the Latest News in Hindi.

Adhikary had to clarify that he is not against “Sab ka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas” but the cat is out of the bag now. If he remains committed to his earlier resolve then this will prove to be the silver bullet for the BJP in Bengal and elsewhere to focus harder on its traditional support base, the patriotic Hindu segment. This will help the party win over another major chunk of disappointed Hindu votes that had strayed due to the wrong policies of the party in reaching out to Muslim voters at the cost of Hindu voters.
