Wetlands is a 2013 British-French comedy drama horror film that was co-written, produced, and directed by Ben Wheatley. The film stars Cara Delevingne as a medical student who investigates what's wrong with her friend (played by Michael Smiley) after he begins to show signs of having dangerous psychokinesis abilities. It premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 7, 2013.
The story is about two friends who live in an isolated area where nobody lives except them and their parents. Their lives are changed when one of their friends gains the ability to move things with his mind.The film was produced in association with the British Film Institute.On review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, the film has an approval rating of 40%, based on 17 reviews with an average score of 5/10. On Metacritic, which assigns a normalized rating to reviews, the film has a weighted average score of 43 out of 100, based on 6 critics, indicating "mixed or average reviews".

The music for "Wetlands" is by Jóhann Jóhannsson. The soundtrack was released on October 21, 2013."Wetlands" was released on DVD and Blu-ray in the United Kingdom on 27 February 2014.
Note: A special feature of the DVD is that it includes two scenes that were cut from the final film; "The Bridge Jumping Scene" and "The Family Dinner Scene". It also includes an alternative ending (the theatrical version of the movie had a slightly different ending).
